Angella Whitton has been published in Westerly, the Australian Women’s Weekly and Visible Ink. She won a $5,000 prize in the Penguin / Australian Women’s Weekly Short Story Contest.
The Night River was selected for the Queensland Writer’s Centre / Hachette Australia Manuscript Development Program in 2015. She has studied writing at the University of Sydney and UNSW.
In her day job, she resolves workplace disputes involving police. On her holidays, she has walked with lions, swum with stingrays and caught boats down several of the world’s great rivers.
